The operator is asked to select
the machine for which they
would like to view the line
graph. The cursor can be
moved one machine at a time
by using the arrow keys or it
can be moved a full screen by
using the "PAGE UP/DOWN"
keys. The "HOME" and
"END" keys move the cursor
to the top and bottom of the
machine list respectively.
When the cursor is
highlighting the desired
machine press "ENTER" to
view the machine graph. There
will be a brief delay while the
data is retrieved from the selected machine. Press "EXIT" to return to the graph menu.
Data from the selected
machine is graphed using the
temperature and humidity units
preferences. The "UP" and
"DOWN" arrow keys display
the previous and next
machine's line graph
respectively. A cursor in the
form of a vertical line shows
the temperature and humidity
readings and corresponding
date and time at the point of
the cursor in the upper right
corner of the graph. The
setpoint is the first value, and
the actual value is to the right
of the setpoint. The line can be
moved one dot at a time using the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" arrow keys, 32 dots at a time using the "PAGE
UP/DOWN" keys. The "HOME" and "END" keys move the line to the left or right edge of the graph. If
the machine was turned off for some time, there will be a gap in the line and no actual value is shown in
the upper right hand corner. If the temperature or humidity display is turned off in the scale box, then the
lines for the setpoint and actual values is not displayed and no reading is shown in upper right coma. The
bottom center of the screen indicates the amount of time represented by each axis division, and depends
on the line sample time selected for that machine. For example if temperature and humidity are sampled
every 15 minutes, each division represents 3 hours. The date at the bottom right corner indicates the time
of the last recorded point. Use the "SELECT" key to scale the temperature and humidity axes, which is
described in the next step.
NOTE: a) The graph does not update automatically. Exit the graph screen and come back in to reload the
graph data. b) If the line sample time was changed recently, the data before the change is not scaled.
Thus the cursor will not show the correct date and time for that data. c) It is suggested that the axes be
scaled so that it is more obvious which line is the temperature and which line is humidity by arranging
the temperature to be in the top portion of the screen and the humidity in the lower portion. d) If a
machine has been powered down for a extended period of time, the graph will be blank for that time
period.
