machine.
The Machine State screen consists of several sections showing information about the selected machine.
Environment
Displays the machine's temperature, humidity and damper setpoints, and the actual measured temperature
and humidity. These values are always shown in the units selected under the 'Display' section of the
main menu. A '%' symbol after a humidity value indicates percent relative humidity (RH) and '°' depicts
degrees wet bulb.
Status
Displays various system statuses, which are different for various machines types (incubators or
hatchers). The 'Machine State' at the bottom of the list indicates whether the machine is polled (Active),
not polled (Off), or is in maintenance mode because the fan switch is off (Maint).
Damper Position
A graphic representation of the damper position is shown along with the percentage open in numerical
form. The auto damper on ACI machines indicates the desired position of the damper when actual
humidity is above the setpoint. The auto damper feature is disabled if the damper is set to zero % open.
The arrow indicates whether the damper is opening or closing (the arrow in the figure above indicates
that the damper is opening).
Profile
Displays which profile is active and the number of days into the profile cycle. Days shown are the number
of completed days. If the profile is inactive, the 'Day in Cycle' field is blank. If the alarm override is active,
the time remaining in the override is shown in hours at the bottom of the screen.
Alarms
Displays the machine's first six active alarms. The "CLEAR" key can be used to acknowledge alarms from
this screen. See the 'Alarm Screen' section on Page 110 for more information.
