This screen is displayed only
if 'Specific Machine' was
selected at the previous step
(see above). Use the arrow
keys to send a new alarm setup
to a specific machine. Press
"ENTER" to continue to the
next step, or "EXIT" to abort
and return to the alarm setup
editing screen.
The operator must confirm the
activation of the new alarm
setup by moving the highlight
bar to the 'Send Alarm Setup'
position using the arrow keys,
and then pressing the
"ENTER" key. Pressing the
"EXIT" key or selecting
'Abort' will leave the alarm
setup unchanged at the
machine controller. Any alarms
which were active when a new
setup was sent will be updated
to reflect the changes in the
alarm setup. This 'Alarm
Setup' performs a similar
function to the one found
under the 'Machine' menu, except that this function changes the alarm setup of all machines of a given
machine type. Refer to the 'Alarm Setup' section on Page 25 to change the alarm parameters of a single
machine.
