8.1 Alarm Screen
The alarm screen can be
entered at any time by pressing
the "ALARM" key. The cursor
is automatically placed on the
first unit having an active
alarm, pressing the "ALARM"
key again will move the cursor
to the next alarming machine.
An active alarm (one that is
occurring at this moment) is
indicated by flashing text. An
alarm shown in normal text is
an alarm that is still in progress
but is currently acknowledged,
and an alarm in inverse text
was previously alarming but
has now corrected itself. To
acknowledge alarms of a machine, move the cursor to the machine and press the "CLEAR" or "ENTER"
key. Press "SELECT" to view a more detailed screen showing what time an alarm started, shown in Figure
200. Pressing "EXIT" will return to last displayed screen.
With software version 1.23 and above, the "F3" key can be used to display the alarm screen showing only
machines that have an audible alarm. If a machine's alarms are acknowledged or the bypass switch is
activated, the unit will disappear from this screen. Press "ALARM" to return to the regular alarm screen.
This screen shows a more
detailed depiction of the
alarms of a particular machine.
The left column shows the
alarm state; flashing, normal
and inverse text indicating that
the alarm is active,
acknowledged, or has
disappeared respectively. The
second, third and fourth
column show the date and time
the alarm first appeared,
ended, and when it was last
acknowledged respectively.
NOTE: Only an alarm in
inverse text will have an end
time, and an active alarm could
have been acknowledged but has since returned to the active state.
