If password security is
enabled, the operator is
requested to enter the
password. An incorrect
password denies entrance to
the 'Configure Network'
function.
The operator may either abort
the configuration or choose
from the three available
options for network
configuration. The 'Fast
Configure' option should be
used in most cases. The
'Configure' option is used only
for older Jamesway machines.
The 'Manual Configuration'
option is described on the
following page.
NOTE: Ensure that all
machines are powered on
before proceeding with a
network configuration, or else
they will not be added to the machine lists. Also do not use this function to remove machines from the
network that have communication alarms. Correct communication errors before proceeding (there may be
a network error). If a machine needs to be powered off, use the 'Select Status' function described in
section 6.1 on page 56 to place the machine offline, to disable the resulting communication alarm.
