5.2 Clock

The system clock may be
changed in this menu. This will
also change the time and date
kept by each machine
controller. The date and time is
retained by each machine in an
RTC chip even if the power is
turned off. Press "ENTER" to
display the clock submenu.
NOTE: a) Clock
synchronization is maintained
by the master controller, which
automatically sends the current
date and time to all units on the
network each hour.*
b) Do not set an incorrect date,
as this will cause the machine controllers to update profiles to an incorrect day in cycle. It is important
that the master clock be correct, or the machine controllers will get the wrong date when clocks are
synchronized.
* When replacing a PTA410 board on a machine, the board may not have the correct date and time,
causing the machine to display the incorrect date within the cycle or to enter into standby mode. Use
the 'Set Date' function (see page 60) to synchronize the clock immediately.

5.2.1 Set Time

The 'Set Time' function allows
the current time to be changed.
This will change the time on all
display panels and machine
controllers. Machine
controllers will automatically
calculate the new 'Day in
Cycle' corresponding to this
new time.
Select the function and press
"ENTER" to change the time.
Press "EXIT" to return to
previous menu. If the machine
is running version 1.20 or
newer, the clock functions are
password protected.
