Problem
A 'Network not Initialized' message appears.
A 'Machine Not Installed Reconfigure from
Master' message appears.
Master Display Panel is sluggish (key entry
response times seem slow).
After placing a PTA410 board in a machine and
starting a profile, the machine enters into standby
mode.
An 'Out of Memory' message appears – usually
when pressing the "ALARM" key.
Solution
This is often the result of a memory error.
Reconfigure the network from the Master Display
Panel.
Again, this is often the result of a memory error.
Reconfigure the network from the Master Display
Panel. It is possible that the Display Panel was
turned off during configuration, or that there is a
bad fiber-optic connection.
There may be an active communication alarm on
the system. Check the Alarm status.
If a machine is powered down, ensure the
machine is set as 'Inactive' under the 'Select
Status' menu (see page 50).
The on-board clock may not be synchronized with
the system. Use the clock function to synchronize
all machines using the 'Send Time' function.
NOTE: All machines are synchronized
automatically once each hour.
The display panel does not have enough free
memory to execute the selected function. This is
usually caused by using the 'Print Screen'
function when no printer is attached. Turn the
display panel off for a few seconds, then turn it
back on.
