The last column indicates how the machine responds when an alarm occurs. Each alarm can be
programmed to have one of three modes: 'Normal', 'Disabled', or 'Bell Off'. If an alarm is disabled, no
alarm of that type will ever be generated. An alarm in the 'Bell Off' mode will not activate the alarm
relay on the machine controller, but will show alarms on a display panel, activating the display's alarm
light and audible alarm (if enabled). A 'Normal' alarm will activate the alarm relay as well as show the
alarm on the display panel. The alarm mode can be toggled by pressing the "SELECT" key repeatedly.
Note: The High Temperature alarm cannot be changed.
Press the "ENTER" key to store the new alarm setup at the machine, or "EXIT" to abort changes without
storing to the machine.
The operator must confirm the
activation of the new alarm
setup by moving the highlight
bar to the 'Send Alarm Setup'
position using the arrow keys,
and then pressing the
"ENTER" key. Pressing the
"EXIT" key or choosing
'Abort' will leave the alarm
setup unchanged at the
machine controller. Any
alarms which were active
when a new setup was sent
will be updated to reflect the
changes in the alarm setup.

3.5.2 Alarm Ranges

Configuring the 'Alarm
Ranges' function allows the
operator to individually
configure the alarm range
settings for each incubator or
hatcher. Under this menu, the
operator can choose which
group of machines are to be
configured. Press "ENTER"
when the desired selection is
highlighted.
