SECTION 6 – ADVANCED SETUP
SH & DHW Proportional Band: Generates a fire rate based on the error that
•
exists between the setpoint temperature and the actual outlet temperature. If the
difference is less than the value of these parameters, the fire rate will be less than
100%. If the error is equal to or greater than the value of these parameters, the fire
rate will be 100%. (Range: 1°F to 120°F)
SH & DHW Integral Band: Specifies the fraction of the output, due to setpoint
•
error, to add or subtract from the output each minute to move towards the setpoint.
(Range: 0.00 to 2.00)
SH & DHW Derivative Band: This value responds to the rate of change of the
•
setpoint error. This is the time that this action advances the output.
(Range: 0.0 to 2.0 min.)
Cascade Deadband Hi & Lo: These parameters define a temperature range
•
within which the plant Outlet Temperature can drift above and below the Setpoint.
(Range: 0 to 25°F)
SH, DHW, Other, Other SH PRI & Other DHW PRI Hi Limit (the options that
•
appear depend on the Application chosen in
Configuration):
(Range: 40 to 210°F)
Valve Configuration
The Valve Configuration screen contains parameters necessary for communicating with and
controlling the external sequencing valves on the boilers in a BST cascade.
NOTE:
This screen is available only after BST Cascade functionality has been enabled (see the
Unit Mode parameter in
a BST Manager, the parameters apply to this unit and all BST Client units. If the unit is
configured as a BST Client, the parameters configured on the BST Manager will take
precedence.
