Use the lifting device to lift the differential
out of the axle drive housing.

Disassembly of the differential is
described as of page 3-213.

Pull the bearing outer ring (see arrow)
out of the housing hole and remove the
shim behind.
③
Press piston (see arrow) out of the axle
housing (see subsequent figure) by
means of compressed air.
※
This operation is only necessary for the
hydraulic lock differential (option).
