Step 3: Collect configuration information

When you set up a VNX gateway, you must enter configuration information. Collect
all required information before beginning setup.
Use the worksheets in Appendix H, "Setup Worksheets," to collect and record
configuration information. Leave the completed worksheets with the customer as a
record of how the system is configured.
Some of the configuration information may have already been provided as part of the
CCA process. Verify these values with the customer as well.
Some setup steps are optional, depending on which service offering the customer
purchased. For example, the number of shares and exports you create varies with
different service offerings.
