• If the customer is located in a country that does not use the U.S.-style dial tone,
such as Germany, disable dial tone detection on the CallHome modem.

the modem or on the box that the modem shipped in), you might need to run a
special utility to set the correct country/regional code.

10. Click Apply.
Verify each activated delivery method.
11. Select a delivery method from the Test Type drop-down box and click Test. This
action sends a test ConnectHome message to your service provider by using the
delivery message. A message indicates whether the test succeeded or failed.
Repeat this step for each configured delivery method to ensure they are all
correctly configured.
Check the system status:
1. If the VNX gateway system has an FCoE I/O module in boot slot 0 of the blade
enclosures, follow the steps in Primus article emc275740 before continuing.
2. In Unisphere, select your system from the system drop-down list.
3. In the System Information window, confirm that the Status field is OK.
To enable licensed features for your system:
1. Select System > System Information.
2. From the task list, under System, select Manage Licenses.
3. Select the licensed feature to enable.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click OK to confirm that you have a license for this feature and you want to
enable its use.
6. Repeat this procedure for other licensed features you require.
After the license is enabled, you have to restart the management application to see
this change take effect in the user interface.
