3.21.2 28-7* Day/ Night Control
In day-night control mode compressor runs normally during day time while it runs with increased setpoint during night time. The condenser fans run
normally during day time while they run with reduced maximum speed limit during night time. There are three sources of day or night indication in the
drive. Digital Input (5-1*), Timed Actions (23-*) and LON Bus (28-7*).
The Day-Night control action is active if the parameter
par. 4-11 or 4-12.
Function:
Selects the input terminal to which the discharge temperature measurement device is connected.
No Source. The Discharge Temperature Monitor is not active.
The measurement device is connected to input terminal 53. Program par. 6-10 - 6-15 to match the
characteristics of the device.
The measurement device is connected to input terminal 54. Program par. 6-20 - 6-25 to match the
characteristics of the device.
Function:
Selects the unit of the discharge temperature.
Function:
Selects the temperature at which a warning shall be issued. The action selected in par. 28-25 Warn-
ing Action becomes active at this temperature. Enter the temperature measured in the unit selected
in par. 28-21 Temperature Unit.
Function:
Selects the action to be taken by the drive for discharge temperatures above the value programmed
in par. 28-24 Warning Level but below the value programmed in par. 25-26 Emergency Level.
No action. Only a warning will be issued.
A warning is issued and the motor speed is lowered in steps of 10 Hz every 3 minutes until the
temperature either drops below the level programmed in par. 28-24 Warning Level or exceeds the
level programmed in par. 25-26 Emergency Level.
Function:
Selects the temperature at which an alarm shall be issued. Enter the temperature in the unit pro-
grammed in par. 28-21 Temperature Unit.
Function:
Returns the actual value of the discharge temperature.
Setpoint Type
(20-25) is set to 'Fixed with Night Setback'.
