E110 (Scanner Motor Error)
- 0001: indicates that the FG signal is not detected when passing the specified time after the activation of the polygon scanner.
- 0002/0003: indicates that the FG signal cannot be detected while the polygon scanner rotates stably.

6.3.4 Controlling the Laser Shutter

This machine has the protection function that prevents exposing the laser to inside of the machine when opening the toner hopper assembly.
In this function, the laser shutter lever that pushes the laser shutter in the laser scanner unit is opened when lifting the toner hopper assembly. As a result of that,
the laser shutter is closed, and the path of the laser light is forcibly blocked.
When the DC controller detects that the front cover, upper right door, lower right door, or toner replacement cover is opened, it forcibly turn OFF the drive of the
laser scanner and the laser exposure.
