Scanning Size

Specify the scanning size for originals.
[Auto]
Select this option if you want the scanning size of the
original to be automatically detected.
[Standard]
Select this option when using a standard size different
from that of the original.
[Custom]
Select this option to select from non-standard paper
sizes registered by the administrator in advance.
[Manual]
Specify a non-standard paper size that is not registered.

Touch [Scanning Size].
The [Scanning Size] screen is displayed.

Specify the scanning size for
originals.
To use a non-standard size that is not registered,
touch [ ] or [
values. You can also enter the number using the
numeric keys.

Touch [OK].

Original Orientation

[Top Side Up]
Select this when loading the original with the top of the
original facing toward the back of the platen glass or the
ADF.
[Top Side Left]
Select this when loading the original with the top of the
original facing toward the left of the platen glass or the
ADF (so that the text of the original is sideways).

Touch [Original Orientation].
The [Original Orientation] screen is displayed.

Select the original orientation.
