Printing

Slip Sheet

Use this function to insert a slip sheet between print
units when printing multiple copies. You can stamp
a number or letter on slip sheets.
[OFF]
Slip sheets are not inserted.
[Between Sorts]
A slip sheet is inserted between sets, based on the unit
specified in [Sort].
[Between Jobs]
A slip sheet is inserted between print jobs.
Select whether to insert a slip sheet between sorts or
between jobs, and click [Details] to display the [Slip
Sheet] dialog box.
Select the tray for slip sheets and specify the text to
stamp.
■ Slip Sheet Tray
[Standard Tray], [Feed Tray 1], [Feed Tray 2],
[Feed Tray 3]
• When using the optional high capacity feeder,
[High Capacity Feeder] is displayed in place of
[Standard Tray].

■ Number on Slip Sheet
The text is printed at the bottom (within approx. 5 mm
(7/32") of the edge) or top (within approx. 5 mm (7/32") of
the edge) of the sheet.

Nothing is stamped.
[1 2 3 ...]
Numbers are stamped on slip sheets in numerical order
(1, 2, 3...). (Up to 9999)
[A B C ...]
Letters are stamped on slip sheets in alphabetical order
(A, B, C...Z, AA, AB, AC...). (Up to ZZZ)
