Multifunction Finisher

You can do the following when using the optional multifunction finisher.
Functions Available for Multifunction
Finisher
Staple/Punch
Bi-fold
Booklet binding
A Top Tray
When using the punching function, printouts will be
output here.
B Stacking Tray
When using the staple, offset output, or punching
function, printouts will be output here.
C Booklet Tray
Booklets and bi-folded printouts will be output here.
D Right Cover
Open this cover when replacing the staple cartridge or
when a paper jam has occurred.
E Left Cover
Open this cover to remove the jammed paper from the
paper feed path between the printer and the finisher.
F Tri-fold Output Tray
Tri-folded printouts will be output here.

Functions Available When the Folder
Unit is Installed
Inner tri-fold
Outer tri-fold
Z-fold
G Eject Button
Use this button to move the printouts in the booklet tray
to the position where you can easily retrieve them.
H Folder Unit
Outer tri-fold, inner tri-fold, and Z-fold functions are
available.
I Tri-fold Output Tray Button
Press this button to remove tri-folded printouts. The tri-
fold tray will open towards the front.
J Multifunction Finisher Socket
Connect the multifunction finisher power code. The
socket is located in the rear of the multifunction finisher.
