Customized Status Codes

In addition to the standard messages, you also get status codes corresponding to up to seven
user inputs and two pairs of cross-checked user inputs. When SmartPAC 2 receives a signal
from one of these inputs, it displays the status code corresponding to the input (status codes
#17, #18 and #50 through #59). See the next illustration for one status warning that
SmartPAC might display. To set the customized status codes in Initialization mode, see page
225 in the Initialization chapter.

Description of Status Codes and How to Correct

SmartPAC 2 with WPC provides status codes that tell you that something is wrong with the
press or WPC, including its internal components, peripheral equipment, setup, or press
operation. When there is a problem with the press, always repair or correct it before running
the press again.
If you cannot correct the problem yourself after reading the remedy for the problem below,
contact Wintriss Tech Support, and be ready to provide some important information to
expedite a resolution to the problem. Please supply: product name (e.g. SmartPAC with
WPC); installed options (e.g. DiProPAC, ProCamPAC, etc.); and firmware version
