OSHA Regulations
OSHA 1910.217 (c) (3) (i) (a)
(3)
Point of operation devices.
(i) Point of operation devices shall protect
the operator by:
(a) Preventing and/or stopping normal
stroking of the press if the operator's
hands are inadvertently placed in the point
of operation.
