WPC Power Supply Test

WARNING
!
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD WHEN WORKING INSIDE ENCLOSURE WITH POWER ON
• DO NOT touch electrical connections or circuit boards.
• Use test equipment only on the terminals specified in the instructions.
• Ensure that this test is performed by qualified personnel.
Failure to comply with these instructions could result in death or serious injury.
Refer to the LED map, Figure B at the end of the manual, when you perform this test.
1. Set the Stroke Select key switch to OFF.
2. At the WPC control enclosure, open the front cover.
3. Turn on the power to WPC.
4. At the WPC control board, check whether the +24 VDC, +5 VDC A, and +5 VDC B
LED indicators are illuminated.
• If all these LEDs are on, go to the next test.
• If all the LEDs are off, check that line voltage is being applied to the system. Then
check power fuse labeled F1 found on the power supply board (see Figure 2 - 37,
page 160 for power supply board layout). If necessary, power down the WPC and
replace the fuse. Go to step 2. If the LEDs are still off, contact Wintriss Tech
Support.
• If only the +24VDC is unlit, check the 24 volt power fuse found on the power supply
board (F402, see Figure 2 - 37, page 160 for power supply board layout). If
necessary, power down the WPC and replace the fuse. Go to step 2. If the +24VDC
LED is still off, contact Wintriss Tech Support.
• If one or both of the +5 VDC LEDs are unlit, contact Wintriss Tech Support.
