Copy an Existing Tool

(PROGRAM – GO TO THE TOOL MANAGER – F8 -COPY TOOL)
1. Use the cursor keys to highlight the tool on the Tool Manager display (Figure 5 - 4) that
you want to copy. In this example, tool #6162, "Bracket 2" is highlighted. If there is a
large number of tools in SmartPAC 2's memory, there will be additional columns. Press
the left or right cursor keys to access the additional columns.
2. Press F8-"Copy Tool."
3. Enter the tool number in the box that appears (see Chapter 3 for instructions on entering
numbers and text).
4. Go to "Tool Program Menu," page 285, and program the tool.

want to make changes to. In this example, tool #6162 is highlighted. If there is a large
number of tools in SmartPAC 2's memory, there will be additional columns. Press the
left or right cursor keys repeatedly to access the additional columns.
