Follow the instructions below to clear a lockout condition after correcting the fault that
caused it.
A lockout condition occurs when you first power up the SmartPAC 2 with WPC and in some
cases, after you press RESET to clear an error condition. When a lockout condition is in
force, a lockout message (below) appears on SmartPAC's display. This message indicates
that a serious error condition has occurred. Correct the problem before continuing.
PRESS CONTROL IS IN LOCKOUT MODE
The stroke selector must be turned to the off mode and then back to the
desired operating mode to reset the lockout condition.
To clear the lockout condition
1. Correct the problem that caused the lockout condition.
2. Turn the STROKE SELECT key switch to "OFF."
3. Wait at least one second.
4. Turn the STROKE SELECT key switch to the desired operating mode. The lockout
message will disappear and you can now resume operation.
