After ensuring that the messaging system server is ready for the integration by
completing all appropriate tasks in the Installation Guide, perform the following
procedures to confirm that the integration is enabled, to configure the LAN MCI
parameters, and to configure the UNIVERGE UM8500 ports.
To confirm that the integration is enabled
Start > All Programs > UNIVERGE UM8500

If prompted for logon credentials, type the administrator extension and

password, then click
On a new install the logon credentials are:
Extension = 99995
Password = 12345

Confirm that the settings match those in the following tables.
