Requirements

The steps to set up the NEC SV8300 IP Protims integration require the following:
Equipment

All Dterm IP phones that will be used with UNIVERGE UM8500 must have

software version 1.2 or newer.
SV8300 phone system
UNIVERGE SV8300 software release 4.0 or newer installed and ready for the

integration as described in the phone system documentation.
Password encryption type for IP extensions is MD5, see command CM08

be installed on the messaging system server. The installation file for this
driver is named sl_g729a_setup.exe and can be found in the Voice
Mail\Utilities folder on the Installation disc.
