Perform the following procedures to install and configure the TAPI service
provider.
If upgrading from Cisco CallManager version 2.4, the old TAPI server provider
must be removed before the new one is installed. See
on page 42.
To install the TAPI service provider
NOTE
UM8500 must be installed before the TAPI service provider and
wave driver are installed.

Obtain a copy of the TAPI service provider software from a Cisco reseller.

On the messaging system server, shut down UM8500.

Run the TAPI service provider setup program.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
5
When prompted, restart the server.
Continue with the next procedure.
