Pulire le canalizzazioni del coperchio
lato catena da eventuali
incrostazioni del liquido refrigerante.
Verificare lo stato di usura dei
cuscinetti ruotando leggermente la
girante; in caso di gioco eccessivo è
necessario rimuoverli operando
come segue:
❍ rimuovere l'anello elastico (1)
sull'alberino della girante;
❍ svitare e rimuovere le 2 viti (A)
con rosetta;
❍ sfilare la girante (2) con anello di
tenuta dal lato esterno;
❍ operando dal lato girante con un
punzone adatto, spingere sull'anello
interno del cuscinetto (3) di
estremità fino ad ottenerne
l'estrazione dal coperchio;
❍ rimuovere allo stesso modo
l'altro cuscinetto (4);
❍ operando dal lato interno del
coperchio, rimuovere la controfaccia
(5) dell'anello di tenuta;
❍ rimuovere il distanziale interno (6).
Verificare le condizioni dei
componenti della tenuta meccanica:
non devono apparire deformazioni,
incrinature o usura eccessiva. In
caso di danni eccessivi, è
necessario sostituire entrambi i
componenti.

COOLANT PUMP

Clean any coolant deposits in the
chain-side cover ducts. Rotate the
rotor slightly to check bearings for
wear. If there is excessive play,
remove the bearings as follows:
❍ Remove the snap ring (1) on the
rotor shaft.
❍ Unscrew and remove the two
screws (A) with washer.
❍ Remove the rotor (2) with the
seal from the outside.
❍ Apply a drift to rotor side and
push the inner ring of the end
bearing (3) out of the cover.
❍ Remove the other bearing (4) in
the same way.
❍ Remove the locating ring (5) of
the seal from inside the cover.
❍ Remove the inner spacer (6).
Check sealing parts. They should
show no signs of deformation,
cracks or exceeding wear. If badly
damaged, replace both.
