Webpage redirection configuration
Overview
With webpage redirection configured on an interface, a user accessing a webpage through the
interface for the first time is forcibly led to the specified webpage, which means the web access request
of the user is redirected to the specified URL. After that, the user can access network resources correctly.
If the user sends a web access request after a specified time interval, the specified webpage is displayed
again.
This feature is applicable to scenarios where a hotel or carrier wants to push an advertisement webpage
periodically to users.
Configuring webpage redirection
CAUTION:
Webpage redirection is ineffective on the interface with the portal function enabled. HP recommends not
configuring both functions on an interface.
