4. Cleaning Blade Pressure Adjustment
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD:
CAUTION: - This adjustment is rarely required.
performing this adjustment.
- Improper adjustment of cleaning blade pressure can cause permanent damage
to the drum.
1.
Remove the upper rear cover (2 screws).
2.
Remove the charge/pre-cleaning power pack (2 screws).
3.
Close the front doors, and turn on the main switch to energize the
cleaning solenoid.
4.
Measure clearance A.
5.
If the clearance is not within specifications, continue the procedure.
6.
Remove the cleaning unit.
7.
Adjust the position of the cleaning blade pressure lever [B] (2 screws).
8.
Reinstall the cleaning unit and recheck clearance A.
Clearance A = 5.2 mm ± 0.4 mm
