Condition
Open The lens drives forward to find the home position, but
never receives the home position pulse. It continues
to drive forward until it locks. The Please Wait indicator
turns on and "LENS DRIVE 15" is displayed.
Short The lens drives backwards to get out of the home
position, but never receives a high pulse, It continues to
drive backwards until it locks. The Please Wait
indicator turns on and "LENS DRIVE 15" is
displayed.
Open The lens position can not be initialized at power on;
therefore, "LENS DRIVE 15" is displayed.
Short When changing the reproduction ratio, the lens position
can not be initialized; therefore, "LENS DRIVE 15" is
displayed.
The scanner moves backwards out of the home position
Open
for scanner position confirmation, but the CPU does not
receive a LOW going pulse; therefore, continues onto
the return position. "SCANNER 10" is displayed and the
copier is disabled.
Short The scanner moves forward to the end of travel and
stops. "SCANNER 10" is displayed and the copier is
disabled.
"PAPER FEED 23/24" is displayed.
Open
"PAPER FEED 23/24" is displayed.
Short
Tray always senses paper present in the tray, even when
Open
no paper is present.
Short Paper is not sensed, even when present.
