8. TROUBLESHOOTING

8.1 SERVICE CODES

There are 3 types of service call (

. ID sensor abnormal (see page 2-30 of the F21 service manual)
. Charge/Transfer wire cleaner abnormal
. Toner overload around the cleaning coil
The F22 shows the service call number for the toner overload around the
cleaning unit.
New SC
SC27: Toner overload around the cleaning coil
Symptoms: See page 2-54 of the F21 service manual.
Action:
1. Remove toner from the toner collection coil and the used toner tube.
2. Check whether or not the collection coil drive gears and the toner
overload detection switch are damaged. If it (they) are damaged, please
replace it (them).
3. Confirm that the coils and the gears in the toner collection section work
normally.
4. Press the SC Reset button.

8.2 HOW TO RESET THE OPTICS AND FUSING SC

Press the SC Reset button while pressing the Stop key. Note that the user
cannot reset these easily; this is to prevent the machine from being damaged.
8.3 ID SENSOR ABNORMAL RESET
