3. Installation Procedure

Remove all external strips of tape and the two sponge door cushions [A].

Raise the DF transport unit and remove the cushion [B].
2. Remove the lower right cover [C] (3 screws) and the two studs [D]
securing the paper trays.
Open the left door and remove all strips of tape [E] securing the

vertical transport guide plate and the switches.
Make sure that the switches are properly set as follows:

IMAGE DENSITY: Middle, EXPOSURE: Darker, HUMIDITY: Off,
PAPER APLICATION: Plain Paper, TRAY AUTO-SHIFT: Off
4. Open the right door.
