8. Hot Roller Temperature Adjustment
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD: 181 to 188° C
1. Remove the oil supply unit.
2.
Reinstall the fusing left cover and set the fusing unit.
3.
Remove the lower left cover (2 screws) and disconnect the two main
motor connectors [A].
4.
Turn on the main switch, and wait about 20 minutes until the surface
temperature of the hot roller has stabilized.
5.
Open the top unit and actuate the safety switches for the top unit and
front doors.
6.
Using a digital thermometer [B] and probe [C], measure the temperature
in the middle of the hot roller.
CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the drum surface.
7.
If the temperature is not correct, adjust it using SP 34.
