6. Paper Volume Detection

Each tray uses a pulse generator to determine the quantity of paper in the
tray. The CPU determines how much paper is in the tray based on the num-
ber of pulses received from the pulse generator between the time the tray
starts moving up and the time the lift sensor turns off.
The relationship between the pulse count and the paper quantity indication
is shown by the following tables.
