The crossmixing mechanism has two functions: 1) it keeps the toner and de-
veloper evenly mixed; and 2) it creates a triboelectric charge by mixing and
agitating the developer.
The developer that is attracted to the development roller at point A is split
into two parts by the doctor blade.
