sticking to
A small pump (consisting of two one-way valves enclosed in a rubber sleeve,
the oil pump lever, and the oil cam) pumps silicone oil from the oil bottle
(1,000 cc capacity) to the oil sump. The pump lever alternately presses and
releases the rubber sleeve between the two valves as the oil cam turns.
This pumps oil from the bottle to the sump. The oil cam is turned by the
drive link, which is moved back and forth by an eccentrically mounted drive
pin.
This pin is on the shaft of the lower fusing pull-out roller.
The oil supply pad soaks up oil in the oil sump and applies it to the hot
roller. The metering blade spreads the oil on the hot roller and removes ex-
cess oil,
Excess oil flows along the blade to the ends of the roller and
returns to the sump. Excess oil in the sump flows out through a hole in the
bottom of the oil sump and returns to the oil bottle.
