PAPER TRANSPORT

1. Introduction

The transport belts deliver paper to the fusing unit after it is separated
from the drum by the separation corona and the pick-off pawls. A vacuum
fan holds the paper firmly against the belts to obtain enough friction be-
tween the belts and the paper for secure transport.
detects separation jams.
The transport unit is driven by the main drive belt through the fusing drive
gear.
