3. MECHANICAL OPERATION

Copy paper exits from the copier and enters the first sorter stapler unit. If the
first sorter stapler unit is full, the paper exits through the 20th bin position and
enters the sorter stapler connector unit, which transports the copy to the 2nd
sorter stapler unit.
The motor of the sorter stapler connector unit turns on when the sensor at
the 1st sorter stapler unit exit detects a sheet of paper.
