Service Call 12 -
o The scanner does not reach the following points within 1.0
second after the CPU outputs the "Return Signal".
a) Speed Down Point
b) Braking Point
c) Scanner Home Sensor
o The CPU continues to receive the encode pulses 1.0 second
after the CPU outputs the "Return Signal".
While the scanner is returning, is the output of CN208-B17 LOW?
Replace the main board.
Is the voltage between CN503-2
Replace the Scanner Motor
Replace the scanner motor.
Service Call 13 -
o The counter switch is closed on the first check (OFF check
fails) or opened on the second check (ON check fails) for
three consecutive copies.
o SP4-4 is set but the option counter is not installed.
will light after three consecutive A3/LDG copies.
Is the harness/connector lose or option counter not installed?
Replace the counter.
If the operation is still not correct:
o Replace the main board.
o Check the operation.
o Reinstall the old counter to double check it.
Correct the harness and connector.
