INVERTER
1. Inverter Roller Clutch Disassembly and Adjustment
- Disassembly -
Remove the fusing unit.

2. Open the inverter unit and remove the inverter roller clutch assembly,
which consists of the clutch [A], solenoid [B], and the bracket [C] (3
screws and 2 connectors).
3. Remove the pin cam [D] (1 Allen screw).
4. Remove the bushing [E] and bearing [F] (1 E-ring) and remove the in-
verter roller clutch with the shaft [G].
CAUTION: - When disassembling the inverter roller clutch, be careful not to damage the
clutch spring [H].
- Do not loosen the two Allen screws fixing the clutch hub [I] and the clutch
shaft. These Allen screws set the inverter roller position, and they
should be loosened only when replacing the clutch hub or the clutch shaft.
5. Disassemble the inverter roller clutch.
6. Clean the clutch hub, spring and gear [J].
7. Grease the clutch spring with Mobil Temp 78.
NOTE: When reassembling the inverter clutch, make sure that the projections on
the clutch spring are engaged with the clutch sleeve [K] and the clutch
hub.
