- Auto Paper Selection (APS) -
When the APS mode is selected, the copier receives original size data from
the document feeder and chooses the paper size which matches the selected
magnification ratio.
- Auto Magnification Selection (AMS) -
When the AMS mode is selected, the copier receives original size data from
the document feeder. It then chooses the magnification ratio which matches
the selected paper size.
APS and AMS in CFF Mode -
-
When either 11" or 12" form is selected in CFF mode, the copier distinguishes
the original size as A3 or 11" x 17" for APS and AMS modes.
When either 8.5" form is selected in CFF mode, the copier distinguishes the
original size as A4 or 11" x 8.5" for APS and AMS modes.
