7. Pick-off Pawl Unit Replacement and Pick-off Pawl Release
WARNING: Be careful not to cut yourself on the sharp edges of the pick-off pawls.
- Pick-off Pawl Unit Replacement -
1. While holding the pick-off pawl shaft [A], pull the pick-off pawl release
lever [B] to remove the assembly.
2. Clean the pick-off pawls with a dry cloth or replace them if neces-
sary.
3. Check that the up and down movement of the pick-off pawls is smooth
by rotating the pick-off pawl release lever in the direction of the arrow
(clockwise).
- Pick-off Pawl Release Adjustment -
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD: 1.0
1. Remove the drum cover, adjust the gap [C] between drum and the pick-off
pawls by moving the stopper [D] on the drum stay (2 screws).
The drum cover can be easily removed if the top unit release lever is pressed up.

Use a flashlight to
