6. ADJUSTMENTS

6.1 IMAGE DENSITY SENSOR/AUTO DENSITY SENSOR
A D J U S T M E N T
The adjustment procedure is the same as in the F21. (See the F21 service
manual, pages 5-28 and 5-77.)
However the variable resistors used for adjustment (VSG, ADS) have been
moved from the Main PCB to the jam indicator board.
NOTE: VSG voltage is displayed
on the LCD.
Half of the VSG voltage

is displayed.
F22: The actual VSG voltage
is displayed.

6.2 FUSING UNIT ADJUSTMENT

The strength of the pressure springs has been increased.

Because of this, the adjustment standard
of the nip band width has been changed.

The difference between the front and rear
measurements should be less than 0.4 mm.
