SCAICOMS configuration

The SCAICOMS table defines linkset names and assigns them to the appropriate
hardware device. This establishes a logical pathway through the EIU to Contact
Center Manager Server.
Editing the SCAICOMS table
1 Type table SCAICOMS, and then press Enter.
Result: The > prompt appears.
2 Type add, and then press Enter.
Result: The LINKSET prompt appears.
3 For LINKSET, type a name for Contact Center Manager Server as it is
known to the CS 2x00/DMS switch, and then press Enter. The LINKSET
name creates a logical pathway to the server on the EIU.
Result: The LINKSEL prompt appears.
4 To identify the connection type, type TCP, and then press Enter.
Result: The IP_ADDR prompt appears.
5 Type the Contact Center Manager Server IP address, and then press
Enter.
The IP address must match the IP address of the Contact Center Manager
Server on the ELAN. To obtain the Contact Center Manager Server IP
address, follow the procedure in "Verify the server configuration" on page
111.
Result: The MULTIMSG prompt appears.
6 Type y or n. If you type y, the CS 2x00/DMS can send multiple ICM
messages in a single TCP segment to the Host.
Result: The utility prompts you to save the new linkset.
7 Type y, and then press Enter.
8 To exit from the table, type quit, and then press Enter.
