Getting started
Caller Entered Data requires the IVR to implement the TAPI Call Data and IVR
interface.
Five-digit agent IDs
In Contact Center 6.0, the maximum number of ACD agents on a CS 2x00/DMS
switch increases from 9999 to 30 000. If the five-digit agent ID feature is
enabled on the CS 2x00/DMS switch, you can configure individual ACD groups
with either a four-digit or five-digit logon ID.
CS 2x00/DMS switch configuration
The MAX_NUM_AGENTS_PER_SWITCH office parameters, in the OFCOPT
table, define the maximum number of agents for the CS 2x00/DMS switch, for
example, the total number of telephone lines that can have the ACD option
assigned. Previously, the range of telephone lines was 0 (zero) to 9999. The new
range of telephone lines is 0 to 30 000.
To increase the number of agents that you can define on the CS 2x00/DMS
switch above 9999, you must purchase the Software Optionality Code (SOC) for
this feature. You can purchase in increments of 500 to a maximum 30 000
agents.
ACDLOGIN table
Previously, the ACDLOGIN table supported 9999 tuples, with a range of 0001
to 9999. The ACDLOGIN table now supports 30 000 tuples, with a range of
00001 to 30000. The LOGINID field increases from a four-digit value to a five-
digit value. Existing four-digit logon IDs have leading 0 (zero) padding during
One Night Process (ONP).
ACDENLOGIN table
Previously, the ACDENLOGIN table supported 255 partitions, with a maximum
of 9999 logon IDs for each partition. The ACDENLOGIN table now supports
30 000 logon IDs in each partition. Existing four-digit logon IDs have leading 0
padding during ONP.
ACDGRP table
The ACDGRP table has a new field, IDSIZE, which specifies the number of
logon digits for all agents in the group. Valid values for IDSIZE are 4 or 5.
