To modify the .ini file parameters for MPS-MG 3200 configuration
Use the following sample .ini file to enter the required parameters for
configuring the MG 3200 with the MPS.
[PSTN Params]
TrunkingToAnalogFunctionalityProfile = 1
PhysTermNamePattern = 'p/*'
ProtocolType_0 = 2
CASTableIndex_0 = 0
CASTablesNum = 1
CASFileName_0 = 'GroundStartTable_FXS.dat'
When only one CAS file is in use, which is the case for MPS-MG 3200
configuration, you do not need to use the individual CASTableIndex_TrunkNum
(CASFileName_X) parameters (they default to 0).
Verifying .ini file extension
Before loading an .ini file to the MG 3200, make sure that the extension of the
.ini file saved on your PC is correct. To do this, perform the following steps:
1
On your desktop, double-click My Computer.
Result: The My Computer explorer window appears.
2
From the menu, select Tools > Folder Options.
Result: The Folder Options dialog box appears.
3
Click the View tab.
4
In the Advanced Settings area, scroll to the Hide extension for known file
types check box.
5
Clear the check box if required.
6
Verify that the .ini file name extension is xxx.ini and not xxx.ini.ini or
xxx~.ini.
You are now ready to load the .ini file to the MG 3200 using the Advanced
Configuration module of the Embedded Web Server.
