If you enable this, the SNMP agent sends a trap when a client attempts to authenticate
with a captive portal but is unsuccessful.
Select the Client Connect Disable or Enable radio button.

If you enable this, the SNMP agent sends a trap when a client authenticates with, and
connects to, a captive portal.
Select the Client Database Full Disable or Enable radio button.
9.
If you enable this, the SNMP agent sends a trap each time an entry cannot be added to
the client database because it is full.
Select the Client Disconnect Disable or Enable radio button.
10.
If you enable this, the SNMP agent sends a trap when a client disconnects from a captive
portal.
Click the Apply button.
11.
Your settings are saved.

View and Clear the Captive Portal Client

You can view and clear information about the traffic a client sent or received.
To view and clear the captive portal client:
Launch a web browser.
1.
In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
2.
The login window opens.
Enter the user name and password.
3.
The default admin user name is admin and the default admin password is blank, that is,
do not enter a password.
Click the Login button.
4.
The System Information page displays.
Select Security > Control > Captive Portal > CP Client.
5.
To refresh the page with the latest information on the switch, click the Update button.
6.
To clear the information in the client table, click the Clear button.
