Configure RIP

Enable RIP

To enable RIP:
Launch a web browser.
1.
In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
2.
The login window opens.
Enter the user name and password.
3.
The default admin user name is admin and the default admin password is blank, that is,
do not enter a password.
Click the Login button.
4.
The System Information page displays.
Select Routing > RIP > Basic > RIP Configuration.
5.
In the RIP Admin Mode field, select the Enable or Disable option.
6.
If you select Enable, RIP is activated for the switch. The default is Enable.
Click the Apply button.
7.
Your settings are saved.

Configure RIP Settings

To configure advanced RIP settings:
Launch a web browser.
1.
In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
2.
Description
Total number of active static entries in the ARP table.
Total number of configured static entries in the ARP table.
Maximum number of static entries that can be defined.
