Assigning Device Variables to I/O Ports

When you create the Unit configuration information, the I/O data of the NX Units mounted in the Slave
Terminal are displayed as I/O ports.
To access the EtherCAT Slave Terminal, assign device variables to the I/O ports and reference the
device variables in the user program.
Refer to NJ-series CPU Unit Software User's Manual (Cat. No. W501) for details on I/O ports and
device variables.
Checking I/O Ports
You can check the I/O ports with the I/O Map on the Sysmac Studio.
Select I/O Map under Configurations and Setup on the Multiview Explorer on the Sysmac Studio
