Final Drive Removal - Honda 2006 TRX680FA Service Manual

REAR DRIVING MECHANISM
Insta ll the sho ck absorber upper m ounting bolt and
a new nut , and ti ghten it securely.
Install the following :
- w heel hu b (page 16-9).

side -
tight side cover i page 3-5)
Left 51de -
oillille r lid (pag e 3·8 )
- seat (page 3-4).
FINAL DRIVE REMOVAL
Drain t he final gea r case oil (page 4-15).
Rem ove t he foll ow ing :
- engi ne gu ard (page 3-17)
rear brake cali per without d iscon nect in g the
bra ke ho se (pag e 17-27)
- dr ive shafts (p age 19-6)
Rem ove the foll owing fr om t he frame:
- pivot nu ts and bolts
- suspension ar m/s hock abso rber assemblies
Remove the brake hose clamp bol t.
