REAR WHEEL/SUSPENSION
Insta ll a new stopper ring into the inner groove in
the pivot securely.
Carefully press in a new bearing until
it
contacts the
stopper ring (the depth from the outer surface is
12.8 mm ), usi ng the same tool.
Install a new stopper ring .
Pack each pivot (betw een bearing and dust seals)
with 3 9 of grease.
Apply grease to the new dust seal lips and Install
them until they arc flush w ith th e outer surface.
Install the pivot collars.
SHOCK ABSORBER INSTALLATION
Insta ll new dus t seats into Ihe p ivot s with the lip
side facing out until t hey are seated.
Apply molybdenum d isulfide paste to the pivot
bushings and dust seal lips.
Install the seal caps and piVOT collar.

Install the shock absorber i nto the frame w ith the

mounting bert. Install a new nut.
Connect the shock absorber 10 m e knuck le amJ
upper arm (page 16-16).
